Terms & Conditions Checklist
1 Salary
Salary is reviewed annually usually on 1 April.
2. Holiday Entitlement
24 days annual leave. After 5 years service you are given 5 extra days (29 days)
Leave is calculated on an individual leave year running from your start date and will be calculated based on your hours of work.
3. Hours – 37 hours per week
A flexible working policy is in operation however this is not available to all employees. Core hours are; 10.00am to 11.45am and 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
4. Notice
Depending on your salary grade you will be required to give the following notice;
A – E – One month
F – Two months
SPOT – Three months
5. Unions
The Trust recognises four unions UNISON, UCATT, GMB and AMICUS
6. Pensions
Cheshire County Council – Final Salary Scheme
Employee contribution rate of 6%
Employers contribution rate of 17%
Social Housing Pension Scheme (SHPS)
Employees contributions are dependant on age:
Up to 29 years old 4.1%
30-39 years old 5.1%
40 + 6.1%
Employers contribution rate of 11.7%
7. Appointments are subject to satisfactory references, a health check and in some circumstance a CRB check. All appointments are subject to a six month probationary period.
The Trust operates a No Smoking Policy in all offices.
