A young housing professional has been shortlisted in the final three of a competition to discover the brightest upcoming star of the sector.
GREEN-fingered residents are being encouraged to enter Chester & District Housing Trust’s (CDHT) annual Garden Competition which is being launched to coincide with National Gardening Week (April 15 to 21).
RESIDENTS will benefit from reduced heating bills as a result of improved energy efficiency works to high rises in an area of Chester which will help to reduce fuel poverty.
COSMOPOLITAN Housing Group (CHG) has become part of Sanctuary Group. CHG owns and manages around 13,500 homes across Merseyside, Cheshire and the North West.

These leaflets give you information on the new Government rules for housing benefit from April 2013, including a calendar of when the changes are due to happen and what those changes are. The Story So Far….. Both Chester & District Housing Trust (CDHT) and Cosmopolitan Housing Association (CHA) have been consulting with residents about the proposal for CDHT to join a new Cosmopolitan Housing Group (CHG). Thanks to those of you who came along to a consultation event or provided us with feedback and questions. A joint Residents Group from both organisations has now been set up to guide, edit and produce all future newsletters about the merger. They asked John Denny for his ideas on how a new organisation would look.
Each of our 6 Neighbourhood Panels produce a community magazine which provides information about the work of the Panel and the positive outcomes as a result of this unique partnership.

Cheshire West and Chester Council has formed a partnership with the two other largest social housing landlords in the area, Chester & District Housing Trust and Weaver Vale Housing Trust, to change the way social housing is allocated in the Cheshire West and Chester area. The new partnership will be called Trust Homechoice.
