The biggest and most comprehensive survey of employee opinion has ranked Chester & District Housing Trust (CDHT) as 47th of the Best Companies to Work For in the UK in The Sunday Times Top 100 listing. CDHT appears for the third year running and with its highest ranking ever.

Sheltered Housing Developments

Chester and District Housing Trust have made a commitment to reduce accommodation with shared bathroom facilities by 2010. Four schemes have currently been identified as being no longer fit for purpose and are in various stages of the development process. The first new properties are due to be completion in Summer 2010.

Cheshire West and Chester Council has formed a partnership with the two other largest social housing landlords in the area, Chester & District Housing Trust and Weaver Vale Housing Trust, to change the way social housing is allocated in the Cheshire West and Chester area. The new partnership will be called Trust Homechoice.
